Q: Will Mike Iaconelli and Pete Gluszek be at every seminar?
A: Yes, Mike and Pete will be attending every seminar and will participate as speakers and hosts. Come prepared with questions for your hosts!
Q: How many speakers will be at every seminar and who are they?
A: Each weekend event will have 6 professional anglers, which will include Mike Iaconelli and Pete Gluszek. Please visit the individual city event pages for the speaker line up.
Q: What is the layout of the weekend?
A: There will be 6 lectures approximately 45 minutes in length and two time slots of open forum each day. There will be periods of time available to have onoe on one conversations with the pro's along with time to purchase key products from the vendor.
Q: What will I learn and will I be bored if I am already a knowledgable angler?
A: This is not the basics, this is advanced instruction by the top name professionals. The speakers intend to teach cutting edge techniques and discuss the newest products on the market. Learning is a two-way street. Students who are active participants in the classroom discussions and roundtable sessions will gain the most from this intense weekend sessions.
Q: Is this program for someone under the age of 18?
A:Yes! As long as your child has the basics down they should thoroughly enjoy gaining more knowledge and instruction from these pros.
Q: Is this program only for anglers that want to become pros?
A: No this program is for anyone that loves fishing and wants to learn more and improve thir skill set.
Q: Will food be provided as part of the course price?
A: Breakfast will be served on day 1 during saturday check-in. Otherwise, food is not included in the course price. Each event is held at a hotel that offers a wide range of food services and is also within close range to several restaurants.
Q: Is the hotel room part of the price?
A: Hotel room is not part of the course price. However, Bass University has negotiated a competitive price for students interested in staying at the hotel the event is being held. Hotel stay is not required by students. We encourage students to find the most affordable and convenient accomodations that work for them. Our speakers, Master of Ceremonies, hosts and Bass University staff will be staying on-site at the hotels at nearly every event.
Q: How can I book the hotel? Is there a special rate?
A: On each event page, a link has been provided to the hotel as well as the hotel's main 800#. We encourge students to call directly or visit the hotel's website to make arrangements. Remember, most hotel rooms allow up to four adults. So if you're signing up with friends, split the cost of the room for maximize cost effectiveness.
Q: What day/time is check-in?
A: Saturday morning check-in is from 7:00am - 7:45 a.m.
Q: I signed up but didn't get a Welcome Email. When will I receive it?
A: We send Welcome Emails once a week, usually on Mondays. Depending on when you signed up, it may get your Welcome Email in by email up to seven days after you signed up. Please contact us if a week has gone by and your Welcome Email didn't land in your in-box.
Q: Will I receive some kind of pre-event reminder/notification?
A: Yes, all pre-registered students will recieve a pre-event reminder/notification prior to the event.
Q: Will I receive a confirmation email upon payment?
A: Yes, all registered students will recieve a confirmation email by the following Monday. Please do not be concerned if you do not receive an immediate confirmation.
Q: Are you coming to my city?
A: We're taking requests for future years. Please do continue to submit your requests for cities. We cannot respond to every city request but we hope that we can make as many cities as we continue to expand Bass University in future years.
Q: I can't make it to any of cities this year, can I purchase a DVD instead?
A: We know that you can't always make it to the event, even if you want to. So we're making it easy. Sign up for our newsletter and you'll be the first to know when DVDs of the event are available to purchase. It's like you were there all along!
Q: How many people do I need in my group for a group discount?
A: We have multiple group rate discounts, starting as low as five for a group rate. Gather your friends to maximize cost effectiveness! We encourage college student groups, local fishing clubs, or even just a group of friends who enjoy Bass fishing as much as we do! We hope to see you there!
Q: Can I pay by check or money order?
A: Yes, you can pay by check or money order. To register, please provide your full name, email address, phone number, mailing address and your check or money order to the Bass University office. The mailing address is 348 Palatine Rd, Pittsgrove, NJ 08318.
Q: Will I need ID on day of check-in?
A: If you have registered under a discounted price, you will need to show proof of membership, age or group.
Q: Are there restaurants nearby?
A: Yes, each seminar weekend is held in a hotel that offers many different dining options, from casual to more formal settings. We advise you to visit the hotel's website and view the various options available.
